The Good news is that there is a hot-fix for the issue which you can download from the Autodesk Account Center or you can obtain from the Autodesk Desktop App. I’d never seen this happen before but it turns out that this is a bug that Autodesk has discovered in Revit 2020. I got a tech support call from a customer last week who had an issue where Revit suddenly went into Viewer Mode mid-session for an inexplicable reason. Revit 2020 is rolling out across the World and a lot of our customers have been testing it and using it.
